GOP health plan a bust

The congressional Republican health care plan will be a disaster (“Obamacare repeal no easy operation,” March 19). U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan’s plan would take health care away from 24 million people across the country. And it does nothing to deal with skyrocketing medical and prescription costs.

In addition, the proposed cuts to Medicaid will wreck our state budget.

Congress should focus on expanding coverage for more working people, not putting high-quality care out of the reach of millions more people.
