NO. 1 HARVARD (26-5-2) VS. NO. 4 PROVIDENCE (22-11-5)

-

Game time: Today, 4 p.m., ESPNU

Harvard path to victory: Crimson boast top-scoring senior class in nation (75 goals, 110 assists), including three — Sean Malone (42), Tyler Moy (41) and Alexander Kerfoot (41) — with 40 or more points. Harvard's game is speed and must keep pedal to the metal and not ease off throttle as it often does. Crimson need another big effort from junior goalie Merrick Madsen, who was ECAC tourney MVP.

PC path to victory: Friendly confines agree with Friars, whose road to 2015 NCAA crown began with Dunkin' Donuts Center wins over Miami (Ohio) and Denver. Friars have big-play performers in defenseman Jake Walman and forwards Brian Pinho and Erik Foley, but the key is how well goalie Hayden Hawkey (2.20 GAA, .913 SP) performs.
