HUNTER ADRIAN

MELROSE The freshman made his presence felt at 106 pounds, winning the Division 3 North sectional, state and All-State titles, while placing sixth at New Englands. Adrian recorded an overall record of 47-5 and helped the Red Raiders capture the Div. 3 state team title for the first time in school history. Adrian also won the 106-pound championsh­ip at the ever-competitiv­e Wayland Holiday Tournament last December.

RAMAZAN ATTASAUOV

WAYLAND The 126-pound junior standout captured the Division 3 Central sectional, state and All-State titles, while finishing fifth at New Englands, ending the season with a 50-3 record. Attasauov took second in the 2016 Cliff Keen Journeyman Freestyle Championsh­ip and also placed sixth in the 2017 preseason Nationals. His long-term goal is to wrestle at a Division 1 college.

JOSH BECHEN

CATHOLIC MEMORIAL A Catholic Conference All-Star, Bechen captured the Division 2 Metro, state and All-State titles at 170 pounds. Bechen placed third at Nationals last season and has a career record of 147-22. Bechen also won the state and All-State titles as a sophomore. A multi-sport athlete, Bechen is a member of the football team.

HENRI BEHAEGHEL

BILLERICA The Merrimack Valley Conference co-Wrestler of the Year, the 195-pound senior went 50-6 on the season, winning the Division 1 North, state and All-State titles before placing in the top eight at New Englands. The Big Red and Chelmsford Invitation­al champion, Behaeghel is a two-time state and All-State place-winner. A member of the National Honor Society, Behaeghel will attend Johns Hopkins University.

CARLOS CABRERA

CENTRAL CATHOLIC The dominant heavyweigh­t wrestler in the state this past season, the senior captured the Lowell Holiday title before taking home first place at the Division 1 North sectional, state and All-State tournament­s. He concluded his career with a 117-31 mark. Cabrera, an All-Scholastic lineman in football, will play that sport at Trinity College.

LUCAS CORDIO

NASHOBA The MVP of the Midland-Wachusett League for the upper weights, the 152-pound junior was 43-4 and won the Division 2 Central and state titles. Cordio finished second in both the All-State and New England tournament­s this year. A three-time Div. 2 Central champion, two-time state champ, and 2016 NHSCA All-America, Cordio boasts an impressive career mark of 128-19.

JACK DARLING

MASCONOMET The Division 2 state champion at 113 pounds, Darling was 55-5 with 44 of those wins coming on pins. He also placed third at All-States, fourth at New Englands and third at the Sophomore Nationals. The co-Wrestler of the Year in the Cape Ann League, Darling has a career record of 110-10 and owns two state titles. He is an honor roll student and NHSCA Academic All-American.

CHRISTOPHE­R DeROSA

BILLERICA The 120-pounder captured the Division 1 North sectional title, placed second at All-States, and third at both the Div. 1 state and New England tournament­s. DeRosa is a four-time sectional titlist and Chelmsford Invitation­al champ. He's also won the state and All-State titles twice each. An honor roll student, DeRosa will attend Campbell University on a Div. 1 wrestling scholarshi­p in the fall.

ANTONIO DiFRONZO

MELROSE A Middlesex League All-Star, the 195-pound senior had a big season for the league champs. He won the Division 3 North sectional and state titles, helping the Red Raiders to the team titles in both events. He also won the Lowell Holiday tournament en route to a 53-3 season. DiFronzo, who took second at All-States and fourth at New Englands, is a three-sport athlete and league all-star in football.

JAKE FERRI

SHAWSHEEN A four-year starter, the two-time Commonweal­th Athletic Conference MVP captured the Division 1 North sectional, All-State and New England titles at 113 pounds, while taking a second at the Senior Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va. The school's first two-time All-State and New England champion, Ferri ended his career with a 203-24 record. He will wrestle at Kent State in the fall.

DARIUS FRANKLIN

METHUEN Named the Division 1 Merrimack Valley Conference Wrestler of the Year, the 182-pound senior took the postseason trifecta in his weight class. Franklin was victorious at the Division 1 North sectional, state and All-State tournament­s. A two-time team MVP, Franklin helped guide the Rangers to a 21-1-1 season and ended his career with an overall record of 142-11.

RYAN GARLITZ

ST. JOHN’S PREP One of a trio of talented wrestlers at 113 pounds, the sophomore standout was 55-3 and won the Division 1 state title, while placing second at the All-States and New Englands. Garlitz also took a fourth place at the Sophomore Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va., last weekend. A Catholic Conference All-Star, Garlitz earned Academic All-American honors for his work in the classroom.

DANIEL GREANEY

BEDFORD Greaney etched his name into the school record book when he became Bedford's first Division 3 state champion. The 220-pound senior went on to place second at All-States and third at the New England meet, finishing the season with a 38-4 record. A two-time Div. 3 North sectional champion, Greaney ended his career with an overall record of 126-45.
