ANGELA ALIBRANDI WESTFORD
The 6-foot senior center and captain was a constant presence for the Grey Ghosts, averaging 12.5 points and grabbing nine rebounds per game this season in leading her team to Dual County League and Division 1 Central titles. A three-time DCL All-Star, she finished her career with 708 points and 570 rebounds. A National Honor Society member, she will play basketball at Tufts University in the fall.
ALYSSA CASEY ANDOVER
A prolific scorer, the senior guard averaged 21 points and 8.7 rebounds per game on her way to being named the Merrimack Valley Conference's MVP for a second time. A two-time Herald AllScholastic, she totaled 1,196 points for her career. A member of the National Honor Society, Casey will study business and play basketball at Merrimack College.
KENDALL CURRENCE FALMOUTH ACADEMY
The 5-foot-8 junior guard did it all for the Mariners, shouldering the scoring load by averaging 23.2 points per game this season. She already has 1,640 career points and has led her team to a 65-7 record in her time at the school. Currence, who also shines on the soccer field, is verbally committed to play basketball at Northeastern University. She plays AAU for the MCW Starz.
ASIAH DINGLE ARCHBISHOP WILLIAMS
The 5-foot-3 junior guard averaged 20 points, five assists, six rebounds and five steals this season in helping her team capture its second Division 3 state title in three years. The co-MVP of the Catholic Central League, Dingle already has amassed 1,069 points for her career. An honor-roll student, she also plays soccer at the school.
KEELAH DIXON BRAINTREE
The senior point guard averaged 17 points and five assists to keep Braintree's dominance going by helping the Wamps claim a Division 1 South title and advance to the state final. A two-time state champion, Dixon scored 1,220 points in her career. A member of the National Honor Society, Dixon will continue her basketball career at Colgate University.
ERIN DONLAN ARLINGTON CATHOLIC
The sophomore point guard averaged 17.8 points and 4.1 assists per game to pace the Cougars to a Division 2 North title and a state final appearance. The Catholic Central League All-Star was named the MVP of the Spartan Classic. She's already amassed 651 points and 201 assists in her career. The Medford resident also plays soccer and is an honor-roll student.
TEMI FALAYI ST. MARY’S
Falayi dominated in the paint for the Spartans as the 6-foot-1 senior forward averaged 12.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. The Peabody resident also averaged 3.8 blocks to earn Catholic Central League All-Star honors. Falayi was named the MVP of the Walter Boverini Lynn Christmas tournament. A member of the National Honor Society, she will continue her basketball career at Assumption College.
KELLY FOGARTY WALPOLE
The University of Mainebound senior guard led the Bay State Herget in scoring, averaging 18 points per game to go along with six rebounds to earn league co-MVP honors. A 1,000-point scorer, Fogarty hit 245 3-pointers in her career and was a McDonald's All-American nominee. A two-time captain, Fogarty is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
JOIE GRASSI PLYMOUTH NORTH
The 5-foot-11 senior forward was the go-to player for the Blue Eagles, averaging a double-double of 16.5 points and 10 rebounds per game. She earned Patriot League MVP honors in leading her team to a 13-7 mark and a tournament berth. Grassi, an honor-roll student, finished her career with 1,537 points, 836 rebounds and 367 steals.
TAN’EJA JONES-DRAYTON NEW MISSION
The 5-foot-3 senior point guard averaged 17 points and seven assists per game in leading the Titans to a 21-6 record, the Boston City League championship and a berth in the Division 4 North final. The league MVP finished her career with 1,201 points and four BCL All-Star nods. An honors student, she will do a post-graduate year at Putnam Science Academy.
MASSENY KABA CATHEDRAL
The 6-foot-2 senior forward played an integral part in helping the Panthers bring home their second straight Division 4 state title this season. She was named the co-MVP of the Catholic Central League and closed her career as a 1,000-point scorer. Kaba is an honor-roll student and will play basketball at the University of Central Florida.
ANNABELLE LARNARD FONTBONNE
The 6-foot junior guard carried the load for the Ducks, guiding them to a 20-4 record, a Catholic Conference title and a spot in the Division 3 South final. She averaged 16.8 points and 14.3 rebounds per game, amassing 18 double-doubles in 24 games. A three-time league all-star, the Scituate resident plays volleyball and track and is an honors student.
MAGGIE McCARTHY MEDFIELD
It was a season to remember for the 5-foot-10 junior guard who played a pivotal role in Medfield's run to a Division 2 state title. McCarthy scored her 1,000th career point in the clinching victory and finished the season averaging 15.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. A two-time Tri-Valley League MVP and Herald All-Scholastic, she is a National Honor Society member and a league all-star in soccer and lacrosse.
SHYAN MWAI LOWELL
The 5-foot-6 junior point guard is already the alltime leading scorer at Lowell with 1,400 career points. This season, she scored 20.2 points per game, including a careerhigh 44 against Methuen. Mwai was a Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star. She is also a league all-star in field hockey and an honor-roll student.
FLANNERY O’CONNOR AMESBURY
The sophomore guard/ forward led the Cape Ann League in scoring with 19 points per game and set a school record with 426 total points. O'Connor added 12 boards per game and was named CAL co-MVP for the league and Division 3 North champs. O'Connor, who now has 592 career points, also participates in track and is a high-honors student.
JENNIFER PEEL MANSFIELD
The 5-foot-6 senior playmaker averaged 13 points and 5.8 assists per game, setting the school record in career assists with 471 and helping her team to a 20-5 record and a Hockomock League title. She was named a league all-star for the third straight season and finished her career with 819 points. Peel will play basketball at Saint Anselm College in the fall.
VALENTINA PEPIC REVERE
Not many could handle the 6-foot-2 junior center as Pepic averaged 17.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game to earn Northeastern Conference Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season. Pepic led the NEC in scoring as the Patriots captured the league title. Pepic has 884 career points, is a league all-star on the volleyball team and is an honorroll student.
MEAGHAN RAAB HANOVER
The 6-foot-2 senior center capped off an outstanding career by leading the Indians to their fourth straight Patriot League championship. Raab averaged 16.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game this season, earning Patriot League Fisher Division MVP honors. She is the president of the National Honor Society and vice president of the Student Council. She will attend the U.S. Air Force Academy.
ASHLEY SAMPSON FOXBORO
The junior point guard garnered Hockomock League Davenport MVP honors by averaging 19.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.4 steals, while also shooting 71 percent from the free-throw line, as Foxboro captured the Division 2 South title. Sampson scored her 1,000th career point in the state semifinal at the TD Garden against Arlington Catholic. She is also an honor-roll student.
SHANIA TARVER FENWAY
The 5-foot-7 junior point guard followed up a strong 2016 campaign with an even stronger showing this season. Tarver led Fenway to a Division 4 North championship as she averaged 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals per game. Tarver was named a Boston City League All-Star for
the second straight season.
JILLIAN WEBBER ANDOVER
The 6-foot senior forward was a force in the paint as she tallied 15.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game this season to help the Golden Warriors to the Merrimack Valley Conference and Division 1 North titles. A three-time league all-star, Webber ended her career with 926 points. A member of the National Honor Society, she is also a league all-star volleyball player.
