WHAT’S COOKIN’: Boston chef Jeremy Sewall, the man behind Row 34, Island Creek Oyster Bar and the newly opened Les Sablons in Harvard Square, was seen in New York City's Upper West Side striking a pose with the vision of domestic perfection, Martha Stewart. It all went down at the Culinary Institute of America's annual Leadership Awards event, which took place at the American Museum of Natural History. Sewall was there to cook, while Martha was one of three honorees at the event, along with Jacques Pepin and Shep Gordon.

GENERALLY SPEAKING: Patriots' safety Patrick Chung was spotted eating at Guy Fieri's Kitchen + Bar at Foxwoods. He reportedly had The General’s Pork Shank, described as “slowbraised pork shank glazed in sweet and spicy General Tso's sauce with rice pilaf, pickled daikon, carrot and cilantro.” Wonder if he went for the outdated frosted tips for dessert …

THROUGH THE GRAPE VINE-YARD: Word is, former President Barack Obama and his family will be returning to Martha's Vineyard for summer vacation. Exact dates are yet to be set, but the Secret Service has already sent its advance team to prep for the Obamas' August arrival.

ONCE UPON A TIME: There was a guy from Boston who grew up to be a Hollywood star, played Captain America and capped that with a sweet gig reading a bedtime story on CBeebies, an offshoot of the BBC network. Don't snicker — Chris Evans is following in the footsteps of Tom Hardy, David Tennant, Damian Lewis, James McAvoy and David Hasselhoff. The Hoff! “I hope families have as much fun watching as I had reading,” said Evans, who will read “Even Superheroes Have Bad Days.” The book by Shelly Becker and Eda Kaban shows children how to cope when they are overwhelmed by their feelings. The show airs in May on the CBeebies channel. If you don't get it in your cable package, check out the YouTube channel.

WANNA BETTS: Red Sox player Mookie Betts and his longtime fiancee, Brianna Hammond, came by the New England Aquarium yesterday to check out the new Science of Sharks exhibit. The couple was also given a private behind-the-scenes tour. Later in the day, former congresswoman and gun control advocate Gabby Giffords, who survived a 2011 assassination attempt, showed up at the aquarium with her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly.
