Cheering Celts from afar

-

I’m right there with columnist Jim Sullivan (“Celts merit more love from Hub,” April 5). I was born in 1956 and have been a Celtics fan all my life.

When Tommy Heinsohn was the team’s coach, we lived way out in rural Missouri. I’ve cheered them on through the Larry Bird and Paul Pierce eras. And I’m so glad for NBATV and my DVR now. Besides that, I go to Memphis once a year to actually see the Celts play.

Now, it is a real treat to see the team play so cohesively. Sullivan’s column was right on the mark.
