Mary Sweeney-Buckley, resident of Middleboro

Mary M. Sweeney-Buckley (McDonough) of Middleboro died Wednesday.

She was born in Boston and was a longtime resident of Weymouth.

She attended St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing and was a nurse in the Weymouth schools for many years.

Mrs. Sweeney-Buckley was a longtime parishione­r and Eucharisti­c minister of Immaculate Conception Church.

Wife of the late Edward, she is survived by a daughter, Mary Carney of Weymouth; six sons, Edward Sweeney of East Bridgewate­r, Joseph Sweeney of Plymouth, William Sweeney of Lexington, Daniel Sweeney of Abington, William Buckley of Middleboro and Robert Buckley of North Attleboro; two brothers, Richard McDonough and Daniel McDonough; 19 grandchild­ren, seven great-grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth.

Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
