Carole A. Jackson, 82, of Westport, secretary

Carole A. (Evans) Jackson of Westport died Tuesday at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was 82.

Mrs. Jackson was born in New Bedford and raised in Westport.

She was a secretary for St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford until retirement.

She enjoyed her flower garden and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband C. Edward; two sons, Kurt Sagar of Dartmouth and Karl Sagar of Concord, N.H.; a daughter, Kristen Sagar of Marlboro; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
