BEN FINALLY GONE, BABY, GONE
Ben Affleck has officially moved out of Jennifer Garner’s California house, and she’s reportedly already making use of the extra room.
Two Wetzel & Sons trucks parked in front of the home Saturday, the Daily Mail reported, as movers loaded them up with bigger pieces of Affleck’s belongings. The movers were spotted carrying out a dark wooden cabinet, as well as a sizable black-and-white ottoman. Meanwhile, some of Garner’s possessions were being transferred from the trucks and into the abode, according to the Mail. By the looks of it, Jen’s using her newfound single lady space to get her workout on. Boxes labeled “weights” and “gym accessories” and a slew of dumbbells were hauled into her home. Wetzel & Sons has basically become the angel of death for celebrity relationships, showing up at cohabitating stars’ doors when they call it quits. As The Guardian pointed out back in 2015, the California moving company has hauled away baggage from the homes shared by famous exes George Clooney and Stacy Keibler, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, and Katy Perry and Russell Brand. These trucks first showed up at the now-former GarnerAffleck residence back in 2015. Their appearance aroused suspicion of a breakup among the paparazzi — and sure enough, weeks later, the couple separated. The split occurred just a day before their 10th wedding anniversary, which is practically a recordbreaking length among celebrity marriages.
Earlier this month, Affleck was seen moving some of his stuff out of the Pacific Palisades home where he, Garner and their three children — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5 — had lived together. Affleck had been staying in the guest house on the property after their 2015 separation.
With Garner formally filing for divorce in April, Affleck started packing his bags, headed for a house that’s reportedly situated nearby. Don’t feel too bad for Ben. In addition to reprising his role as Batman in an upcoming film he’s also written and will be producing, he and Garner are having a rather amicable split.
Throughout their two-year separation, they’ve showed the rest of us what successful co-parenting looks like, keeping Sundays for family dinner and church.
