C.K.: WHAT I DID THIS SUMMER

NYC movie just one of Newton comic’s projects

-

There’ve been signs plastered on the streets of New York announcing a “Summer 2017 Films LLC” shooting in the West Broadway and Warren area. And the man behind it is Newton North grad and funnyman Louis C.K. A look at the Directors Guild of

America’s list of filming projects going down this summer will tell you that C.K. is directing an “Untitled LCK Project” that will wrap up at the end of the month. And though the name and the premise of the dark comedian’s movie are still under wraps, we do know some of the other Hollywood players who are involved.

Actress Chloe Grace Moretz has been spotted, with a large cup of coffee in hand, arriving on the set of the mystery project, according to the Daily Mail.

Maybe the caffeine was the cause, but the blond former flame of Brooklyn Beckham was all smiles while weaving between camera equipment.

She’s had a rough few weeks in the wake of a surprise fatshaming marketing campaign for the animated “Red Shoes and the 7 Dwarfs,” in which Moretz lent her voice.

The actress publicly separated herself from the campaign and voiced her disapproval on

Twitter, and it has since been canceled.

On the C.K. set, Moretz was also seen chatting with fellow actor John Malkovich, who is also reportedly a part of the project.

There are other projects on the docket for C.K. His latest standup special, “Louis C.K. 2017,” is in the works, and it will include a live performance from his birth city, Washington, D.C.

He’s also working on an upcoming animated series that’s now going by the name of “The Cops.” The comedian has co-created and is co-starring in the cartoon alongside Albert Brooks, and it will be coming to TBS in 2018. The show will focus on two Los Angeles patrolmen, Al and Lou, as they clumsily attempt to “protect and serve.”

To all that, we have to say, “Louie, Louie, you’re gonna cry” ... because you’ll be laughing so hard at C.K.’s upcoming projects.
