HILLARY: ‘SKIN CRAWLED’ IN DEBATE WITH TRUMP

Clinton doesn’t play the victim card well

Hillary Clinton, victim. That’s the theme of the failed 2016 Democratic candidate’s new book — yet another one — due out in early September, deflecting blame for her crushing loss while, of course, raking in the dough.

Pandering to her outraged, protesting supporters — many of whom really would have rather voted for Bernie Sanders — Clinton heads straight for the gutter with outlandish accusations.

Donald Trump made her “skin crawl” on the debate stage, Clinton informs us. She calls him a “creep.” Interesting choice of words coming from a woman who did everything she could to protect her sexual predator husband, trashing the women who accused Bill Clinton of creeping on them and worse.

Hillary Clinton, who wanted to be our first woman president, bizarrely casts herself as a helpless victim of stalking, in terms clearly meant to suggest the man who is now president might be, well, like her husband.

“This is not OK, I thought,” Clinton says in an audio segment. “It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, ‘Well, what would you do?’ Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up, you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.’” However, she didn’t. And why not, if that’s how she felt? She had handled GOP rival Rick Lazio well enough when he invaded her space in a 2000 Senate debate, and she got a bump in the polls for her trouble.

Instead, this time, she did nothing, just like she did repeatedly at key moments when she was secretary of state. Now, she’s decided to pile on. As if phony Russian meddling probes, false claims of bigotry and everything else the president has been smeared with were not enough.

Talk about chutzpah. Trump has opted to drop the Clinton email investigation, and is leaving alone the slippery Clinton Foundation and Hillary’s “pay to play” games as secretary of state.

With enough skeletons to fill Carnegie Hall, Hillary Clinton would be wise to distance herself from the lawless, violent “Resist” movement that she is now apparently playing to, stop taking cheap shots, and stop playing victim. It’s an insult to the women she claims to represent.
