OFF THE BENCH: Boston

- LOWE

loves its athletes, and its athletes love Boston. Behold:

Bruins' defenseman Torey Krug was spotted at Davio’s Boston with his wife. We hear they ordered the pan roasted Maine lobster, creamy potatoes and lemon tarragon butter from their favorite server, Tonino.

Meanwhile, we're told Red Sox rightfielder Mookie Betts made a caffeine pit stop, taking a couple of his boys to Pavement Coffeehouse at 1334 Boylston Street.

And retired but still going strong, former Red Sox slugger David Ortiz reportedly dined with friends at Strega Waterfront.

ROSE AND SHINE: Those sporty guys aren't the only stars spotted in star: Reality star and downright cutey Sean Lowe, who found love with now-wife Catherine Giudici on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” was seen at Kimpton Marlowe hotel in Cambridge yesterday. While on the premises, he was out enjoying breakfast with some friends in the hotel's restaurant, Bambara Kitchen & Bar.

YOU DIRTY RAT: How does the Patriot Place outpost of Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse commemorate NFL Commish Roger Goodell's visit to Gillette Stadium? Well, last night they served up a “Dirty Goodell” cocktail. The libation was made with Keel Vodka, co-owned by former Patriot Matt Light. The ex-offensive tackle was at the Foxboro eatery to chat with fans as they downed those Dirty Goodells. We're cool if they make that beverage a menu regular.

BOSTON IDOL: Local country musician Timmy Brown won the title of the first-ever “Boston Idol,” a singing contest that was recently held on WCVB (Channel 5's) “Chronicle.” The Norton native competed against 10 finalists, ultimately landing the Silver Ticket guaranteeing him an audition in front of an “American Idol” executive producer. You may have heard his pipes before, as Brown has previously tried his luck on “The Voice,” “America's Got Talent” and “American Idol.”
