BIG APPLE OF BEN’S EYE!

-

Cambridge-bred actor/director Ben Affleck has his eye on East Coast real estate — but not in Boston. Instead, he’s reportedly been apartmenthunting in New York City.

The Academy Award winner has been checking out some of the Big Apple’s most exclusive abodes with girlfriend, SNL producer and NYC resident Lindsay Shookus, in tow, the New York Post reports.

One fancy flat that’s on the pair’s list of possibilities is the prestigious 15 Central Park West. The 19-story-high Lincoln Square building — which overlooks, you guessed it, Central Park — was designed by Robert A.M. Stern and has a reputation for attracting celebrity city dwellers.

Affleck is focused on the building’s Apartment 26C, which has already seen ample A-list action. In 2009, fellow Boston boy Mark Wahlberg was a tenant there, and New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez has also bid on the unit — to no avail — in the past.

The listing on Zillow for the three-bedroom, 31⁄2 bath unit reads: “Elegance personified. The pinnacle of luxury living.”

With heated floors, 11-foot ceilings and floor-toceiling windows, it’s 2,761 square feet of swankiness. Other perks: a resident-only restaurant, in-building fitness center, indoor pool and spa, rooftop deck, private theater, library, wine cellar and 24-hour concierge service with valet parking.

All of those benefits for a measly $39,000 per month. It’s a steal, really.

Whether Affleck jumps on the property remains to be seen. But whichever apartment he settles on will reportedly list his name, and his name alone, on the lease.

No shacking up with Shookus just yet. Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus attend the 2017 U.S. Open Tennis Championships earlier this week.
