A Dorchester man has been charged with shooting two motorcyclists in Boston, killing one, and murdering a New Hampshire woman at his home during a rampage last Sunday, officials said.

Lance Holloman, 30, has been charged with murder, armed assault to murder and other charges after authorities say he shot Scott M. Stevens Jr., of Taunton, and his 54-year-old father as they rode their motorcycles southbound on Interstate 93 near Neponset Circle early Sunday evening. Stevens died of his injuries Wednesday and his father is expected to survive.

And Holloman is also charged with murdering Michaela Gingras, 24, of Manchester, N.H., who was found with fatal gunshot wounds inside Holloman’s Santuit Street house later Sunday evening.

Franklin police arrested Holloman early Monday morning on warrants for different crimes after finding him screaming and waving his jeans over his head on Route 140 in Franklin.

He was held Monday after bail was set at $150,000 cash and will be arraigned on the murder and attempted murder charges at a later date.

One of the warrants Holloman was arrested on in Franklin was for unlawful possession of a firearm after a May 31 incident during which Holloman reportedly told a person to throw a loaded handgun from a car during a traffic stop.

Holloman was sentenced to six years in federal prison in 2011 for distributing cocaine and oxycodone, though his sentence was reduced because disgraced state chemist Annie Dookhan, who was convicted of tampering with evidence, worked on his case.

Relatives for Stevens and Gingras did not return calls for comment last night. An online memorial for Gingras describes her as an athlete who volunteered at youth programs in New Hampshire who loved motorcycle rides, traveling to Miami and all things “Betty Boop.”

“She was small of stature but was fierce when protecting herself and those she loved,” the memorial reads. “She had an amazing heart and soul.”
