Tradition!
In observance of Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, Rabbi Yossi Lipsker of the Chabad Lubavitch in Swampscott shows the traditional shofar, or ram’s horn, to 3-year-old Lila Bacon. Yom Kippur, which began last night and ends at sundown this evening, is known as a day of fasting and atonement in Judaism.
