Catherine D. White, at 84, resident of Saugus

Catherine D. (Gove) White of Saugus died Wednesday. She was 84.

She was born in Provincetown, raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School.

She moved to Saugus in 1955 to raise her family.

Mrs. White loved spending time at her family’s camp in Barrington, N.H., and taking trips to Race Point Lighthouse on Cape Cod, where her dad was stationed.

Wife of the late Thomas C., she is survived by three sons, Thomas G. of Medford, John A. of Loveland, Ohio, and James M. of Saugus; a daughter, Cathy A. of Saugus; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Church, Saugus.

Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
