THREE THINGS TO WATCH

- — COMPILED BY ROSS GIENIECZKO

1. Getting Georgetown off the field on third down will help Harvard’s ground game wear down the Hoyas defense. Georgetown has converted just 8-of-41 third down attempts this year, (19.5 percent), while the Crimson defense has held opponents to 12-for-26 on third down (46 percent).

2. Harvard has been dominant in the brief history of the all-time series against Georgetown. The Crimson are 3-0 and have outscored the Hoyas 110-20 in those games, all of which have taken place in the last three years.

3. The outlook for injured Harvard freshman Ben Abercrombie remains cautiously optimistic. Two weeks after undergoing vertebrae surgery, Abercrombie is beginning to regain some feeling in his arms and legs, according to a report by Joseph Goodman of Al.com.
