A 21-year-old man who raped an unconscious Everett teenager and left her partially nude body sprawled on a frigid driveway will serve up to three and a half years in prison, prosecutors said.

Sami Sherif pleaded guilty to rape Friday in Middlesex Superior Court for the 2015 assault. He was ordered to serve not less than two years and no more than three and a half years in prison.

In March 2015, a woman leaving for work about 6:30 a.m. found the teenager in her driveway, motionless and partially undressed.

“The girl was frothing from the mouth and there was blood on her and on the driveway,” prosecutors said. “The teenager was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital where doctors performed CPR on her for hours.”

The teen had a core body temperature of 77 degrees and no brain activity when she was brought to the hospital. Doctors gave her a 30 percent chance of survival. But she lived and was eventually released from the hospital.

“Investigators learned that the young woman had been at an underaged drinking party on Waters (Avenue) in Everett the evening before,” prosecutors said.

Cops broke up the party about midnight. Sherif, who was seen by revelers leaving with the teen, returned hours later and bragged to other attendees about having sex with her. When detectives questioned Sherif, he first denied it.

“The defendant spoke to the investigators and initially denied any sexual contact with the teenager but eventually claimed they had consensual sex outside in the driveway where she was found lying,” prosecutors said. “He told the police that he was doing her a favor by walking her home and that everyone had left her. He acknowledged that she was highly intoxicated and claimed he knew she wanted to have sex with him because of the way she looked at him.”

He said he left her in the driveway because he could not carry her any farther.

The mother of one of the 40 teens at the party, Stephanie Malloy of Somerville, was charged under the social-host laws with providing the alcohol. She admitted to facts and the case was continued without a finding.
