Hung up on Price

Steve Buckley can’t seem to write a column about the Red Sox without complaining about David Price, especially with regard to the incident with Dennis Eckersley (“No doubt, Farrell must go,” Oct. 10). The issues with Price occurred several months ago, but Buckley can’t seem to let them go.

While I don’t condone Price’s actions, enough is enough. In Tuesday’s column, Buckley claims that, if the Sox don’t rein in Price, the team will suffer a major disconnect with its fan base. This is another one of his habits — he claims he is speaking for the fans. No, Steve Buckley, you are not speaking for this fan. I get it — you don’t like David Price. Let it go!
