Chigozie Sumani notched four goals for Archbishop Williams (10-1-1) in a 4-0 Catholic Central League win over Cardinal Spellman in a girls soccer matchup yesterday.

In a Hockomock League shootout, Emily Vigeant found the back of the net twice as Mansfield (9-1-1) knocked off Milford, 4-2.

In the Patriot League, Jan Fleming scored two goals as Duxbury (8-1-2) qualified for the postseason with a 5-0 win over Plymouth South.

Boys soccer

Behind Christian Buckley’s fifth shutout, St. John’s Prep (9-0-2) claimed a Catholic Conference title with a 4-0 win over Xaverian.

In the Catholic Central League, Archbishop Williams (8-4-1) coasted to a 5-0 winover Cardinal Spellman thanks to Ryan Hanson’s two goals and Colby Carey’s first varsity marker . . . . Nolan Perez netted the eventual game-winning goal during the first half as St. Mary’s (12-0) clinched a spot in the state tournament with the 2-1 victory over Austin Prep.

Field hockey

Keira Semerjian found the back of the net three times and added two helpers to power Lincoln-Sudbury (8-2) to a 5-0 Dual County League win over Newton South.

Girls volleyball

Sydney Phillips had 19 kills to fuel King Philip (12-1) to a 3-1 Hockomock League win over North Attleboro.
