Mateo, St. Mary’s boys perfect in CCL

Richie Mateo recorded his 11th shutout as the St. Mary’s boys soccer team locked up an undefeated record in the Catholic Central League for the first time in program history with a 7-0 rout of Cardinal Spellman. The victory boosts the Spartans to 14-0 on the season.

Alex Renaud and Nic Ong each tallied two goals and two assists for Hamilton-Wenham (5-6-2) in a 6-1 win in the Cape Ann League against Amesbury. . . . Will Sidford finished with a hat trick as Newburypor­t (7-2-5) blanked North Reading, 5-0.

Jonathan Rodriguez logged two goals as Saugus (7-3) topped Greater Lawrence Tech, 4-0, in a nonleague matchup.

Girls soccer

Deina Lopes netted four goals and Boston Internatio­nal (13-0) took down TechBoston, 5-0, in the Boston City League to maintain its perfect record . ... Nidia Rodriguez scored the gamewinnin­g goal as East Boston (9-4) topped Burke, 3-0.

Madison Blonde scored two goals and assisted on another for Rockland (10-41) in a 5-0 rout of Middleboro in the South Shore League. ... Hannah Duran picked up a goal to go with an assist to propel Hull (10-5) to a 3-1 victory against Carver.

Field hockey

Emma Preuss and Maeve Murphy each tallied a goal as Scituate (8-0-1) edged Hanover, 2-1, in the Patriot League . . . . Caroline Butler fired home the first goal of her varsity career for Duxbury (10-2-2) in a 3-1 win against Hingham.

Madison Micciche posted a hat trick while also dishing out two assists, helping Winchester (13-0-1) to a 6-0 rout of Reading in the Middlesex League . . . . Ally Kennedy netted a hat trick as Watertown (13-1) cruised past Wakefield, 6-0.

In her first varsity game, Amelia Blake scored the game-winning goal to lift Apponequet (7-4-1) to a 2-1 South Coast Conference win against Bourne.

In the Tri-Valley League, Mikayla Berger potted two goals as Medway (9-4-1) toppled Bellingham, 3-0.

Girls volleyball

Jenna Forcellese helped out in a big way, with 31 digs, as North Reading (10-7) knocked off Ipswich, 3-1, in the Cape Ann League.

Sydney Phillips led the way with 11 kills, seven aces and three digs for King Philip in a 3-0 Hockomock League sweep of Taunton.

Sarah Janco registered 10 kills for Central Catholic (85) in a 3-0 victory against Billerica in Merrimack Valley Conference play . ... Jada Burdier had 15 kills and three aces to pace Haverhill to a 3-0 win over Chelmsford.

Oliver Ames beat North Attleboro, 3-1, in the Hockomock League behind Jordan Bosse’s 10 digs.

Lizzie Myers tallied 14 kills to spark Marblehead (11-2) to a 3-0 win against Revere in the Northeaste­rn Conference.
