Former Vice President Joe Biden talks about the loss of his son, his decision not to run for president and his abiding confidence in people with Oprah on “SuperSoul Sunday” (Sunday at noon on OWN). Biden is promoting his new memoir, “Promise Me Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship and Purpose.”

See a star before he was a star. “Hamilton’s” LinManuel Miranda takes the spotlight in the 2008 musical “In the Heights: Chasing Broadway Dreams,” part of “Great Performanc­es” (airing tonight at 9 on PBS).

It was a love story that ended in a hail of bullets. Now Lifetime turns its eye on “Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer” (tomorrow at 8 p.m.) and dramatizes the romance between the double-leg amputee and Olympic athlete Pistorius and model Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius shot her through his bathroom door on Valentine’s Day in 2013. The film relies on public records. Neither family aided Lifetime in making the movie.

Twenty years after Louise Woodward was convicted of killing Newton infant Matthew Eappen, HLN re- examines the notorious case of the “killer nanny” on “How It Really Happened with Hill Harper” (9 p.m. Sunday). Prosecutor­s Martha Coakley and Gerard Leone and defense attorney Barry Scheck weigh in in new interviews.

When Tiffany Haddish, recently of “Girls Trip,” steps onto the stage of “Saturday Night Live” (tomorrow at 11:30 p.m. on NBC), she’ll be making history — as the first black female comedian to host the show. The musi- cal guest is some unknown by the name of Taylor Swift.
