Helen Plata of Quincy, native of Poland, 93

Helen (Zydaczewsk­a) Plata of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died Thursday at home. She was 93.

She was born and raised in Poland.

She was a survivor of a Nazi Labor Camp before coming to the U.S.

Mrs. Plata lived in Dorchester and moved to Quincy eight years ago.

She was a housekeepe­r for Tufts Medical Center in Boston until retirement.

Wife of the late Stanislaw, she is survived by five daughters, Diane Harber and Barbara Buckley, both of Weymouth, Stella Mann of Rockland, Christine Buckley of Dorchester and Eileen Kalish of North Carolina; eight grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Czestochow­a Church, South Boston.

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
