Nikki puts ’em on notice like they deserve
There was a bad hombre beatdown at the U.N. yesterday and it’s been coming for a long time.
It came after various thug regimes, gangster states and Euro softies voted in a resolution condemning the U.S. for recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
They’re especially miffed that President Trump plans to move our embassy there. His U.N. ambassador, Nikki Haley, made it clear that the U.S. runs its own house.
“America will put our embassy in Jerusalem. That is what the American people want us to do, and it is the right thing to do. No vote in the United Nations will make any difference on that,” Haley said.
“But this vote will make a difference on how Americans look at the U.N. and on how we look at countries who disrespect us in the U.N. And this vote will be remembered.”

Put them on notice, Nikki. They deserve it.
The United Nations loves to hate Israel. It spends tons of time condemning, lecturing and wishing death on the Jewish state.
But they didn’t see Donald Trump coming. And they certainly didn’t expect to be struck by the thunderbolt otherwise known as Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Strike she did, and it was glorious.
The United Nations is a money-guzzling, corrupt disgrace. A quick glance backwards in time calls to mind a rich history of dirty pool. Think “Oil-for-Food relief program scandal,” diamond smuggling by alleged peacekeepers in Sierra Leone, and charges of pillaging, bribery and outright thievery, from the elaborate to the crude.
In the U.N. General Assembly, America is routinely roasted by countries whose murderous leaders snuff out freedom and make war on women, children and the defenseless even as they lecture us on human rights.
It’s altogether fitting then that they’re getting an earful back from Nikki Haley — a strong American woman who is already being eyed as a potential White House contender.
The U.S. Congress passed legislation in 1995 establishing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and opening the way for the embassy. Unfortunately, milquetoast leaders in both parties could never summon the resolve to make it happen. Until now.
The days of America getting treated like the world’s chump are over. Condemn and kvetch all you want, U.N. We’ve got an embassy in Jerusalem to build.
