The resort group’s main choice for weddings, the Red Jacket Beach Resort, is located on a scenic point in South Yarmouth. From one side, a wedding party has a view across the water to Nantucket. From the other, a lush grassy area spreads out wide and looks over beautiful marshes. In other words, from sunrise to sunset, there’s the perfect spot for photos (so vital to a wedding), and for guests to say “ahh.” Guests often choose a beach ceremony and cocktail hour outside, and then move into the Wheelhouse Ballroom, or under the Ocean Front Pavilion, a tented area.
