Two face trafficking charges in drug bust
Two men arrested this weekend in Whitman will be arraigned today in Brockton District Court on drug trafficking charges, cops said.
Jon Vanrader Jr., 27, of Brockton and Reginald Sadm, 25, of New Bedford were arrested late Saturday night in Whitman, cops said.
Sadm was released yesterday on a $3,040 bail and Vanrader is being held at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility on $5,040 bail, Whitman cops said.
Whitman police said they found 31 grams of fentanyl, 17 ounces of marijuana, Xanax and Suboxone medication, a digital scale, drug packaging materials, two cellphones and $3,318 in cash when they searched the vehicle of the suspects Saturday.
Vanrader is also facing charges for operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a number plate violation.
