In the latest installment of “As the Ben Turns,” a source blabs to In Touch magazine that Cambridge’s own Ben Affleck is face-palming the decision to split from Jennifer Garner. “He’s not as happy as everyone thinks,” yakked the insider. Affleck is dating “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus, but, the beanspiller continued, “The truth is, Ben has huge regrets about how everything went down with Jennifer. He misses his old life with her and the kids.” According to In Touch’s tea pourer, Affleck’s allegedly been pondering why it all happened. “Midlife crisis.” To quote the bard, “No duh.”
Whatevs. The pair, though no longer together, seem to have the co-parenting thing down pat. They even go on vacations together, which is cool. Though maybe not if you’re Shookus. In Touch tapped a source (where do they find them?) who said, “She thought Ben was over Jennifer, because he truly convinced her that was the case. Now she’s telling friends that she knows ‘his heart isn’t with me.’”
Affleck-ted with a need to know more about Our Ben? Chatter on Revenge of the Fans website swirls around whether Affleck is still officially Batman, may or may not want to remain Batman ... you get the drift. Do stay tuned.
