Super waste of time

-

The Super Bowl is one of the most over-hyped sporting events in the world (“Pats’ Super comeback vs. Eagles slipped away,” Feb. 5). It goes on for hours, but estimates say the football is in play for only about 15 minutes.

Nonetheless, football fanatics may spend thousands of dollars a ticket to watch a game in person, while millions more take three hours out of their day mesmerized by their TV sets.

They would be better off skipping the Big Game and reading a good book. That was my program.
