Bike lanes needed

If the city wants to support an increase in bicycling in Boston, it must build bike lanes that don’t conflict with motorists (“Aiming to end vicious cycle,” Jan. 24). If the city is unwilling to spend the taxpayers’ money on such bike lanes, then it shouldn’t have a policy of promoting increased biking.
