Filiberto Guarracino, 74, resident of Burlington

David L. McConville, Navy vet, resident of Quincy

David L. McConville of Quincy died Thursday.

He lived most of his life in Quincy. He graduated from North Quincy High School in 1959.

Mr. McConville served in the Navy and was stationed in Turkey from 1962 to 1964. Later, he was employed as a gate agent for Delta Airlines.

He and his family enjoyed traveling to Bermuda.

Mr. McConville was a member of the Quincy Elks and Nickerson Post.

He loved his family and his special cats, Brittany and Garth.

Husband of the late Eileen M. (Doherty) for 46 years, he is survived by two sons, David L. Jr. of New Hampshire and Dennis F.D. of Braintree; two daughters, Sharon E. Nota of Rockland and Suzanne M. DiCenso of Whitman; two brothers, Joseph and Robert of Quincy; a sister, Marilyn of Quincy; six grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Arrangemen­ts by Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

Filiberto Guarracino of Burlington, formerly of Woburn, died Feb. 13 at Woodbriar Health Center. He was 74.

He was born in Albanella, Italy, and came to the U.S. in 1976.

Mr. Guarracino worked in the constructi­on industry as a stone mason for many years alongside his brother.

He enjoyed good food, wine making and drinking the wine he created and sharing it with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Pasqualina (Cammarano); two sons, Alfonso of Reading and Guiseppe of Derry, N.H.; two sisters, Elisa Bastolla and Vincenza Frunzo of Woburn; three brothers, Carmine and Jack of Woburn and Sergio of Peabody; four grandchild­ren; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Woburn.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading. Arrangemen­ts by McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, Woburn.
