Elizabeth A. Willis, at 90, resident of Natick

Elizabeth A. (Gallo) Willis of Natick died Feb. 22 at Beaumont Nursing Home. She was 90. She was born in Lawrence. She lived in Natick and Framingham for 80 years.

Mrs. Willis was a devout Catholic who was committed to numerous volunteer efforts in Natick.

She was a longtime member of the Natick Democratic Committee, the Natick Fourth of July Committee, The Leonard Morse Hospital Ladies Aid Committee and was a board member of the Carnation Ball.

Mrs. Willis was lector at St. Linus and St. Patrick Parish, a member of the Ladies Sodality Society and volunteere­d for many years on numerous committees benefiting the former St. Patrick Grammar School.

Wife to the late Frederick Jr., she is survived by six sons, Frederick III. of Marblehead, Kevin of Medway, Patrick of Arizona, Michael of Nashua, N.H., Daniel of Franklin and Joseph of Virginia; a daughter, Mary Bardellini of Northboro; two sisters, Jean Vello of Waltham and Patricia Stafford of Holliston; 19 grandchild­ren; 16 great-grandchild­ren and two great-great grandchild­ren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick’s Church, Natick.

Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.
