Parker covers all the bases before you even sign up, with free information sessions held every month at our campus in Avon, at 11-13 Robbie Road in the Avon Industrial Park.
You’ll meet our instructors, get your questions answered and learn about financing options and our pay-as-you-go program. We are proud to offer this option, which allows for single, oneon-one private lessons when it fits your schedule and budget.
When you begin training with Parker, you’ll find a team of experienced professional drivers focused on helping you begin your driving career.
First, you learn the basics in the classroom. Then you receive on-the-road, oneon-one instruction in our modern, private fleet of tractor-trailers, trucks and buses. Our certified courses are offered on weekdays and weekends. We can accommodate Spanish-, Portuguese- and French-speaking students.
When it’s time for your road test, Parker will still be by your side. We arrange for state police troopers to administer the exam at our campus, so you can take the road test in a vehicle similar to the one you trained in and on the same course.
Once you have your CDL, our job placement specialists will work one-on-one with you to prepare your resume, practice interview techniques and discuss job openings.
While some drivers opt for long-haul and distance runs, many jobs offer scheduling flexibility and the chance to be home every night.
