DeRozan, Raptors roll

DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points, Jonas Valanciuna­s had 15 and the Raptors beat the Atlanta Hawks, 106-90, last night in Toronto for their fifth straight win.

C.J. Miles added 14 points, and Delon Wright and Serge Ibaka each had 10 as the Eastern Conference leaders won for the 12th time in 13 games and completed their first season sweep of the Hawks since 2001-02.

The Raptors are 27-5 at home, the best record in the NBA. Toronto, which trailed by one to begin the fourth quarter, improved to 4-16 when behind through three.

Kent Bazemore and John Collins each scored 15 points and Dewayne Dedmon had 12 points and 10 rebounds, but the Hawks lost for the sixth time in eight games. Atlanta is 5-26 on the road.

Toronto signed Nigel Hayes to a 10-day contract. Hayes averaged 16.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 38 games with Westcheste­r in the G League.

76ers 128, Hornets 114 — Robert Covington scored 22 points, rookie sensation Ben Simmons flirted with a triple-double and Philadelph­ia delivered host Charlotte a fourth straight loss.

Simmons had 16 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds as the 76ers

won for the third time in the last four games. Dario Saric scored 19 points, Joel Embiid added 18 and JJ Redick chipped in with 14 as seven Philadelph­ia players finished in double digits in what might have been the final blow to the Hornets’ playoff hopes.

Wizards 117, Heat 113 — Bradley Beal scored 30 points on 12-of-16 shooting and Washington had its best 3-point shooting night of the season in an overtime win against Miami.

Beal went 6-of-7 from beyond the arc, leading the Wizards to a 14for-24 effort while snapping their first three-game losing streak of the season.

The Wizards, No. 5 in the Eastern Conference, improved to 11-6 in their extended stretch without All-Star point guard John Wall as he recovers from knee surgery.

Dwyane Wade scored 22 points and Tyler Johnson added 21 points for the Heat, who fell back into eighth in the East.

Rockets 122, Thunder 112 — Chris Paul scored 25 points and visiting Houston fought off Oklahoma City for its 16th straight win.

James Harden had 23 points and 11 assists, and Trevor Ariza added 15 points for the Rockets, who are on the second-longest win streak in franchise history. Houston shot

17-for-33 on 3-pointers.

Russell Westbrook scored 32 points and Carmelo Anthony added 23 for the Thunder.

Mavericks 118, Nuggets 107 — Yogi Ferrell rode hot 3-point shooting to a season-high 24 points, and host Dallas downed Denver.

Ferrell was 6-of-7 shooting from long range and 9-for-11 overall.

Rookie Dennis Smith Jr. added 18 points and a career-high 11 assists to the win. Dirk Nowitzki hit 5-of-7 trey attempts and had 17 points.

Wilson Chandler scored 21 points for the Nuggets.

Trail Blazers 111, Knicks 87 — Damian Lillard scored 37 points and made eight 3-pointers, and host Portland won its eighth straight game, routing New York.

CJ McCollum added 19 points for the Blazers, on their longest winning streak since winning nine in a row in 2014.

Warriors 114, Nets 101 — In Oakland, Calif., Stephen Curry scored 34 points with six 3-pointers, and Golden State won its sixth straight since the All-Star break, beating Brooklyn.

Pelicans 121, Clippers 116 — Anthony Davis scored 41 points, incluing six straight in the final two minutes as visiting New Orleans rallied past Los Angeles.
