CIRCUIT BREAKER: While most Hubsters were enjoying a leisurely Saturday — leafing through the Herald with their morning coffee, we can only assume — a share of ambitious Bostonians were getting their sweat on at Horizons for Homeless Children's third annual Celebrity Circuit Challenge. The event welcomed 10 teams of folks at Everybody Fights in the Seaport as they competed in a circuit workout. And each team had a celebrity coach in its corner, including: Celtics centers Aron Baynes and Daniel Theis; Troy Brown, former Patriot and NFL Hall of Famer; ex-Celtic Dana Barros; Boston Cannons midfielder Sean Lawton; retired

Bruin Graeme Townshend; Ethan Zohn, former pro soccer player and winner of “Survivor: Africa;”

Becca Pizzi, winner and current record-holder of the World Marathon Challenge; and Kariman Abuljadayel, the first Saudi Arabian woman to compete in the 100-meter dash during the Rio Olympics.

A LATE CHRISTMAS GIFT: The Bruins' gals recently visited Elizabeth Stone House in Roxbury, where they presented a check from the Festival Trees fundraiser they held earlier this winter. In December, a bunch of Bruins wives and girlfriends auctioned off miniature trees they had decorated, team memorabilia and players' items during home games. They raked in $12,000, which they gave to the local organization, in addition to items for mothers at the center, like diapers, wipes, snacks and toiletries. Among the ladies who stopped by: Stephanie Bergeron, Kelly Backes, Katrina Marchand, Kiley Sullivan and Julie Cassidy.
