Lillian Fusco, meticulous homemaker, of Edgartown

Lillian F. (Worob) Fusco of Edgartown, formerly of Melrose, died Thursday, March 8, at home.

She was born in Boston’s West End.

She graduated from Girls’ High School in Boston.

Mrs. Fusco was a meticulous homemaker who loved keeping up with her children’s activities and interests and keeping beautiful journals of her family’s life activities.

She worked as an administra­tive assistant in the National Labor Relations Board at the Tip O’Neill Building in Boston for 15 years.

She earned a medical assistant certificat­e in 1995.

Mrs. Fusco loved her job at the National Labor Relations Board and remained there until she moved to Martha’s Vineyard.

She also loved being a traditiona­l wife and mother and creating a beautiful home and lovely meals for her family.

Mrs. Fusco enjoyed sewing, shopping, visiting local restaurant­s and decorating her home and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ray; a daughter, Christine of Malden; a son, Stephen of Malden; a brother, Richard Worob of Nashua, N.H. and a niece and several nephews.

A funeral Mass was held March 12 at St. Augustine’s Church, Vineyard Haven.

Burial was in New Westside Cemetery, Edgartown.
