THIS WEEK’S C’S TIMELINE

-

TUE. AT MILWAUKEE, 8 (NBCSB, WZLX 100.7-FM)

The first visit to the Bradley Center this season may not be their last. after losing to the Bucks in Boston in the second game of the season, the Celts won across the street at the old Mecca in the Bucks’ throwback game eight days later. It was the third win of 16 straight. The C’s then took down Milwaukee by 11 in December at the Garden. a game that could play a major role in the Bucks’ playoff seeding (and might do the same for the Celts if they have a chance to catch the Raptors).

WED. AT TORONTO, 7:30 (ESPN, WBZ 98.5-FM)

Last night’s game between these teams in Boston will decide whether there will be much at stake in this one. (a Celtics win would move them just two games behind the Raptors for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.) That could make this final regularseason meeting in the series very meaningful, particularly if the Celts can get out of Milwaukee with a win. It’ll be a tough back-to-back for the Celtics, but it may be an even more difficult one for the Raptors, who play in Cleveland the night before.

FRI. VS. CHICAGO, 7:30 (NBCSB, WBZ 98.5-FM)

The Bulls have been stumbling toward the lottery, losing seven straight entering the weekend. The Celts handled them with ease four weeks ago in Chicago, leading by as many as 37 before settling for a 105-89 win. Reasonable attention to detail should be enough to achieve another victory here.

SCHEDULE REMINDER

The game against atlanta on Sunday, april 8, has been moved up to a 1 p.m. tipoff to make way for the Bruins to play their rescheduled game against florida.
