COUPLES WHO WORK TOGETHER: For a lot of people, working alongside a spouse could win them a one-way ticket to splitsville. But in the case of Newton's own John Krasinski and his wife, actress Emily Blunt, being co-workers had the opposite effect. The couple star together in the upcoming movie “A Quiet Place,” hitting theaters Friday. And while they were shooting the horror flick, which Krasinski also directed, the experience apparently only made them stronger. “We could be announcing our divorce right now if it did go the wrong way,” Krasinski jokingly told People magazine. He added: “I've never have loved my wife more than after we did this movie. For me, it was a trust thing. We trust each other in day-to-day life for sure, but when you trust each other in this way it's different.” THE MORE THE MERRIER: Amy Poehler's directorial debut, the upcoming Netflix flick “Wine Country,” just got a little more complex, with actors Jason Schwartzman and Cherry Jones joining the project. The feature already had a full body cast featuring top comedic talents like the Burlington native herself, as well as fellow “Saturday Night Live” alumnae Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph, Paula Pell and Emily Spivey. The plot of the pic centers on a group of lady friends who take a trip to California as a 50th birthday celebration, and production is reportedly happening in Los Angeles and Napa. Schwartzman previously worked with Poehler when he did a guest spot on “Parks and Recreation,” playing failing video store owner Dennis Lerpiss, and when they were both in the 2001 movie “Wet Hot American Summer.” Meanwhile, Jones is best known for Tony Award-winning work on Broadway, as well as for her role as Allison Taylor on “24.”
