BOYS HOCKEY
SEAN HEALY BC HIGH
The senior defensemen led BC High to a 15-4-1 record and the school's first Super Eight championship since 2007. Healy, a team captain, finished with two goals and 15 assists as the Eagles also captured the Catholic Conference regularseason title. A high honor roll student, he will play hockey next year for Saint Anselm College.
BRIAN CARRABES ST. JOHN’S PREP
The sophomore right wing finished with 22 goals and 13 assists in leading the Eagles to a 15-5-2 record and a berth in the Super Eight tournament. In two varsity seasons, Carrabes has 30 career goals and 25 assists for 55 points. A member of the Prep's baseball team, the young winger is a player to watch over the next two years.
MATT PASQUALE CENTRAL CATHOLIC
The junior goalie finished with 20 wins and a .968 save percentage in leading Central Catholic to a 22-3 record and a MVC/DCL regular-season championship. Pasquale was also named the MVP of his league as well as earning MVP honors in the annual Pete Frates Tournament. The high honors student is undecided on his college plans.
JAKE HIGGINS HINGHAM
The junior defensemen help guide Hingham to a 15-4-6 record and a spot in the Super Eight semifinal round. Higgins finished with six goals and 15 assists and was named to the Buddy Ferreira Classic All-Tournament team. He was a member of Hingham's 2017 Div. 2 lacrosse state championship team. A high honor roll student, Higgins is undecided on his college plans.
THOMAS KRAMER BC HIGH
A Catholic Conference All-Star, the junior forward scored 12 goals and added 25 assists to power BC High to its first Super Eight championship since 2007. Kramer played a key role in helping the Eagles capture the Buddy Ferreira Classic as well as the Catholic Conference title.
JACOB KING POPE FRANCIS
The senior defensemen was instrumental in lifting Pope Francis to the Super Eight championship game. King finished with five goals and 18 assists, closing out his career with 10 goals and 51 assists for 61 total points. A member of the Cardinals baseball team, King will spend the 2018-19 season playing junior hockey.
