President Trump launched a Twitter attack on what he called a “witch hunt” against his personal lawyer and fixer who is now part of the probe into Russia and a payout to porn star Stormy Daniels.

That lawyer, Michael Cohen, had his records searched last week by federal agents as the heat is turned up on the longtime Trump confidant.

Trump tweeted yesterday the feds are “going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will ‘flip.’ ”

He added soon after: “Sorry, I don’t see Michael doing that despite the horrible Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!”

Ex-Trump adviser Roger Stone, quoted in a New York Times story yesterday on Cohen’s precarious predicament, said he’s not sure what, if anything, Cohen knows. He also stood by his quote in the Times stating Cohen was sometimes treated poorly by Trump.

“I don’t know what Mr. Cohen knows or doesn’t know,” Stone said. “I know and like the president and he has nothing to fear from me. (Cohen) has nothing to do with me.”

The president tweeted about Cohen: “Michael, a fine person with a wonderful family. Michael is a businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected . ... ”

Trump also later tweeted he would be watching Barbara Bush’s funeral service from Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., according to a White House pool report.

The FBI raided Cohen’s home, office and hotel room looking for evidence of fraud as they conduct a criminal investigation, The Associated Press reported.

That probe includes payments Cohen made in 2016 to Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal, both of whom allege having had sexual encounters with Trump, people familiar with the raid have told the AP.

The raid has raised accusations the Justice Department is violating attorney-client privilege.
