ALL BETS OFF!!

Brady skips Derby but fans party on

-

Tom Brady and his squad of athlete friends apparently skipped their traditional Kentucky Derby shenanigans, as some folks had suspected. With an offseason of laying low, it now makes us wonder whether he’ll also be passing on a red carpet appearance with

Gisele Bundchen at tomorrow’s Met gala.

Reports swirled about the GOAT’s anticipated absence from Louisville, Ky., throughout last week. And now, we know he was in fact a no-show, but people still can’t pin down the reasoning for Brady passing up the event.

So as we gear up for Anna Wintour’s annual night of A-list glamour benefitting the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute — which he attended last year with his supermodel wife, as well as Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola — his RSVP status now remains a mystery.

Brady has long been a staple at the Churchill Downs competition. In years past, he’s been seen schmoozing on Millionaires Row, decked out in his Southern flair finest and hanging with a closeknit group of Boston’s star athletes. For instance, previous people rolling in Brady’s crew have included his teammates Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, Patriots of past Amendola and Jimmy Garoppolo and retired Red Sox slugger

David Ortiz.

The five-time Super Bowl champ has supposedly been staying out of the public eye to focus more on his family. Despite recently confirming that he plans to play in 2018, TB12 hasn’t taken part in any of the Patriots’ elective workouts. His only recent stint in the spotlight happened when he took a very public trip to Qatar as part of his Best Buddies International ambassador duties last month. He headlined a celebration at the country’s Khalifa International Stadium and enjoyed some quality family time riding camels with Gisele and watching their two kiddos play at the pool.
