BIG NAMES: From what we can tell, Big Night Entertainment Group had an epic weekend filled with celebrity appearances:
We're told that Cleveland Cavalier Tristan Thompson stopped into Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge on Sunday. He dined with teammate Jordan Clarkson and a few friends, munching on dishes like chicken teriyaki, beef teppanyaki, calamari, yellowtail sashimi and chicken fried rice, which they washed down with a bottle of Mount Veeder cabernet sauvignon. We're told that Thompson, who's recently been under fire for allegedly cheating on his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian right before the birth of their daughter, True, requested that all of his food be extra spicy during his Mother's Day excursion — without Kardashian or his other baby-mama, Jordan Craig.
Speaking of the Kardashian clan, a close friend of Kylie Jenner was spotted partying at The Grand on Saturday. Harry Hudson was seen living it up at the club with fellow musician Frank Walker, who opened for Kygo at TD Garden earlier in the evening. Waka Flocka staged a surprise set at The Grand on Friday night, when London On Da Track also performed. The rapper wowed the sold-out crowd with his hits “No Hands,” “Grove St. Party,” “Round Of Applause” and “O Let's Do It,” while wiping sweat from his body with dollar bills and downing Clase Azul tequila.
A FAMILY AFFAIR: Caroline Kennedy — former ambassador to Japan and daughter of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis — is expected at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum with her son, Jack Schlossberg, on Sunday. The duo are slated to present the 2018 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award to former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu for his removal of four Confederate monuments in his city. Landrieu left office May 7. The award will be presented during the museum's annual May Dinner gala, which will also include a performance by New Orleans musician Trombone Shorty.
