IS NICK PINING FOR CULPO?
Olivia Culpo is easing back into the single life and now, the Rhode Island-raised model could have a familiar suitor in pursuit of her heart. Ex-boyfriend and famed singer Nick Jonas might just be trying to get back in her life, three years after their breakup.
The Track has been noticing that over the past week or so, the Jonas brother has started liking several of Culpo’s Instagram posts out of the blue. Of course, the sudden social media activity isn’t the ultimate piece of proof that the “Anywhere” singer is trying to rekindle a relationship with his old flame, but it shouldn’t be discounted. Take, for instance, the red flag that tipped us all off to Culpo’s split from former Patriot Danny Amendola: The football player unfollowed her Insta and deleted all photos that featured her from his own account well before the couple confirmed they were done.
As far as courting tactics go, Jonas might also be going beyond social media and trying to contact her on the phone — gasp! Us Weekly reported that Jonas has directly reached out to the former Miss Universe, who’s recently been back on the market after ending a two-year relationship with Amendola.
“(Jonas) reached out a couple weeks ago via text trying to reconnect,” a source told the magazine, adding that the efforts to reunite are one-sided because she has “absolutely no interest.”
The duo called it quits back in 2015, having dated for two years. In 2016, Jonas released his third full-length album, “Last Year Was Complicated,” which was inspired by his relationship with Culpo and its end. But the guy hasn’t exactly been pining for her in solitude, instead swimming around the dating pool with the likes of Kate Hudson and Georgia Fowler.
A rep for Culpo did not respond to the Herald’s request for comment.
