CENA-BELLA BACK ON!
For fans who’ve been following the seemingly endless saga that is John Cena and Nikki Bella’s romance: The WWE couple is reportedly back together, after calling off their destination wedding six weeks ago.
Word of their reconciliation spread this weekend, as reps for the pair stated: “Nikki and John are working on their relationship and taking it day by day. They appreciate all of their fans and their continued support.”
Shortly thereafter, the West Newbury native and his fiancee both took to social media to post separate nuggets of hope.
“Storms don’t last forever,” Bella posted on Instagram. She added in the caption: “The sunshine will come out soon and the haters who think they know the truth will leave the storm!”
Meanwhile, Cena shared a life lesson of his own via Twitter, writing, “Being accountable is a great way to face who you are. We often speak of aspiration and quickly point out the faults of others, yet fail to heed our words or be brave enough to be accountable for our own faults.”
The duo shocked everyone when they announced their split in April. Their breakup came mere weeks before their intended nuptials in Mexico, and a year after Cena dropped to one knee in the ring at the televised WrestleMania 33.
Since calling it quits — or now, it seems, a timeout — the pro wrestlers briefly had to reunite so they could shoot breakup footage for their reality show, “Total Bellas.” But as their personal rollercoaster ride inches up this latest hill, who knows if E! will need to call the couple back to the set for yet another addendum to their relationship status.
