Waters should quit the rhetoric and do her job

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters should spend less time encouraging voters to harass Trump Cabinet members in public places and more time working with her colleagues to create immigration laws that both parties can swallow.

Instead, the loudmouth Democrat from California is telling supporters to heckle people working for the president.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd,” she said. “And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents.”

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have spoken out against Trump’s controversial and cruel “Zero Tolerance” immigration policy that separates illegal immigrants trying to cross the border with their families.

“We don’t know what damage has been done to these children. All that we know is they’re in cages. They’re in prisons. They’re in jails,” Waters added.

Separating children from their parents seeking asylum is inhumane, but it is completely irresponsible for this liberal to spread lies that kids are in cages.

President Trump hit back on Twitter yesterday saying Waters has an “extraordinarily low IQ” and has become “the face of the Democratic party” along with Nancy Pelosi. “Be careful what you wish for Max!” he added.

But even Pelosi, Waters’ Golden State neighbor, said her colleague’s brand of anger is sadly “predictable but unacceptable.”

One firm critic of the president and fellow Republican U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake, tweeted, “Left or right, nobody deserves this kind of treatment.” He may not like Trump or his policies but he doesn’t support encouraging people to be vicious.

Meghan McCain, the daughter of Arizona Republican U.S. Sen. John McCain, called Waters’ comments “extremely dangerous.”

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant in Virginia because of her boss. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was kicked out of a Mexican restaurant in Washington last week.

It may feel good for these Democratic activists to throw government workers out, but eventually this will lead to violence and the blood will be on the hands of liberals.
