ACTION IN WELLESLEY:
We've had the first official “SMILF” sighting of the summer. The Showtime series, starring and created by Brookline's Frankie Shaw, is currently shooting its second season throughout Greater Boston and, word is, crews have been spotted in Wellesley. Personnel from the show have specifically been stationed at a five-bedroom, eight-bath home on Pembroke Road that's currently for sale for nearly $3.8 million, the Swellesley Report said.
THE FAB THREE: The Twitterverse could be responsible for the most epic of dinner parties after bringing together actress
Mindy
Kaling, model-turned-cookbook author Chrissy Teigen and Antoni Porowski from “Queer Eye” over their common appetite for good food. The Cambridge-born Kaling set the possible dinner date in motion when she posted her approval of the five-man cast that comprises the Netflix reboot, with Teigen interjecting in agreement. Kaling added, “I want Jonathan (Van Ness) to help me find my inner diva with new bob and for Antoni to transform my self worth with a gnocchi recipe,” which caught Porowski's attention. The culinary guru was all about the opportunity, writing, “I'm down for a cooking demo if @chrissyteigen brings dessert just sayin'...” Who knows if this feast will ever come to fruition, but if it does
— fingers crossed — we'd gladly pull up a seat to that table.
