Kuraly re-signs with B’s

The Bruins yesterday resigned forward Sean Kuraly to a three-year deal.

The contract has an annual cap hit of $1.275 million, the team said.

Kuraly scored six goals last year, his first full season in the NHL. He had two goals and a pair of assists in the playoffs.

Also yesterday, the Bruins signed forward Anton Bildh to a two-way contract that would pay him $650,000 in the NHL. He had 11 goals and 15 assists with AHL Providence last season.

Preds sign Blackwell

The Nashville Predators have signed forward Colin Blackwell to a two-year, two-way contract.

Blackwell will make $650,000 at the NHL level and $100,000 at the American Hockey League in 201819. He will get $700,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the AHL in 2019-20.

The 25-year-old Blackwell, a former Herald Dream Teamer out of St. John’s Prep, had 17 goals and 28 assists in 61 games with the AHL’s Rochester Americans in 2017-18.

Isles-Leafs deal

Matt Martin is going back to the New York Islanders.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt the feisty forward to the Islanders, who drafted him in 2008. The Leafs get minor league goalie Eamon McAdam in the deal.

Also yesterday, the Islanders agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million deal with goalie Robin Lehner. Lehner had a 3.01 goals-against average with a .908 save percentage in 53 games with the Buffalo Sabres last season.

The Sabres declined to give Lehner a $4 million qualifying offer as a restricted free agent and relinquish­ed his rights. He will try to improve the Islanders goaltendin­g which allowed a league-high 293 goals last season.

Martin signed a fouryear, $10 million deal with the Leafs prior to the 2016 season. After playing every game in his first season with the Leafs, Martin suited up for just 50 games this past season and did not dress for Toronto’s sevengame playoff series against the Bruins . . . .

The Carolina Hurricanes signed free agent defenseman Calvin de Haan to a four-year contract. General manager Don Waddell said the deal is worth a total of $18.2 million.

De Haan had a goal and 11 assists in 33 games with the New York Islanders last season but missed 49 games with a shoulder injury.

Coyotes keep center

The Arizona Coyotes have brought back Brad Richardson, signing the center to a two-year, $2.5 million contract.

The Coyotes announced the deal with Richardson, an unrestrict­ed free agent, yesterday.

The 33-year-old Richardson has played three seasons in Arizona, with 19 goals and 36 assists. He had three goals and 12 assists in 76 games last season after being limited to 16 games due to injuries in 2016-17.

Richardson has 81 goals and 123 assists in 13 NHL seasons with Arizona, Vancouver, the Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche.

Meanwhile, the Coyotes promoted Ahron Cohen to team president and CEO.

Cohen has served a variety of leadership roles in four years with the organizati­on. He replaces former Arizona State and Texas athletic director Steve Patterson, who will advise the team as a consultant while pursuing outside business ventures .. . .

Left winger Remi Elie has signed a $735,000 contract to stay with the Dallas Stars.

The one-year deal with the restricted free agent was announced by the team.

Elie had six goals and eight assists in 72 games last season for the Stars. He added two goals and seven assists in 19 AHL playoff games with the Texas Stars.

Dallas selected the 23-year-old Elie 40th overall in the 2013 NHL draft.
