UGO ANUONYEMER­E

BELMONT HILL Anuonyemer­e starred in the triple jump and high jump for Belmont Hill. He registered a high jump mark of 6 feet, 6 inches while topping out at 42 feet, 3.5 inches on the triple jump. Also a member of the football and basketball teams, Anuonyemer­e will attend Northeaste­rn University.

CAROLINE CHAMPA

BRIMMER AND MAY Champa finished 11-0 in singles match play for the 2018 season. Only a sophomore, Champa is now 14-3 over her two-year career. A high honor roll student, Champa is also a member of the curling team as well as the junior varsity soccer team. She plans on competing in the Bay State Games.

HAYDEN CHEEK

NOBLE AND GREENOUGH Cheek had quite the spring on the lacrosse field for Nobles, earning All-American honors and ISL Player of the Year. A senior, Cheek broke the ISL career record for points, finishing with 330 (164 goals, 166 assists). A two-time captain and Coaches Award winner, Cheek will attend Harvard University in the fall.

PAUL CHIN

BOSTON TRINITY ACADEMY Despite being only a junior, Chin has already left his mark on the tennis court earning the title of captain for the varsity team. The winner of the 2017 MBIL championsh­ip, Chin is a member of the Headmaster Honor Roll as well as recipient of the Brandeis Book Prize and School Science Award.

OWEN DROMETER

THAYER ACADEMY Drometer finished undefeated in the 1,500 meters and 800 meters for the second straight year to earn ISL All-League honors. He set the NEPSTA Div. 2 meet record for the 800 with a time of 1:55:13 and the record for the 1,500 clocking at 3:55.72. The junior is an honor roll student and plays soccer.

MYLES EPSTEIN

RIVERS SCHOOL Epstein was the ISL champion in the 100 meters and 200 meters finishing with times of :10.87 and :21.88, respectful­ly. Epstein also was the ISL champ in the long jump with a distance of 21 feet, 8 inches. A junior, Esptein is also a member of the soccer team. Epstein was an honor roll student in 2015-16 and 2016-17 as well as a high honor roll student last year.

HARRIS FOULKES

ROXBURY LATIN Foulkes did it both in singles and doubles play this spring, finishing with a 27-1 singles record and a 12-1 doubles record. Foulkes earned the ISL Most Valuable Player award for his play while also going undefeated in both singles and doubles at the Class B New England Tournament. The Amherst-bound Foulkes graduated as an honors student.

ANDREW GIACCHETTO

ST. SEBASTIAN’S The junior standout was 14-0-2 on the season and shot a 72 to finish second in the Kingman Cup. A three-time Independen­t School League All-Star, Giacchetto is a past champion of the Kingman Cup. An honors student, Giacchetto already has given a verbal commitment to golf at Indiana in the fall of 2019.

ALFREDO GONZALEZ

PORTSMOUTH ABBEY The captain of the boys tennis team, Gonzalez finished with a 9-4 overall record. Recording an undefeated mark in EIL play at first singles with a 6-0 record, Gonzalez was named all-league and EIL MVP for the 2018 season. The junior was also the recipient of the Coach's Trophy.

XAVIER HARDMON

CHAPEL HILLCHAUNC­Y HALL Hardmon had a standout spring as a longstick middie finishing the season with 85 points including 58 goals. For his play, Hardmon took home the league MVP and was named a 2018 AllAmerica­n. Hardmon finished his career with 310 points and will attend Pace University.

MORGAN HARTRANFT

NOBLE AND GREENOUGH The 2018 ISL MVP, Hartranft did both inside the circle and at the plate. As a pitcher she went 13-1 with 170 strikeouts and a 0.55 ERA while also hitting .528 with 25 RBI. Also a three-year member of the volleyball team, Hartranft will attend Hamilton College.

ANNIE IRWIN

MONTROSE SCHOOL Irwin helped lead Montrose to a share of the IGC girls lacrosse title as she finished the season with 47 goals and 16 assists. The ICG League MVP, Irwin won 70 percent of her draws while playing center. Also a Boston Herald All-Scholastic in soccer, Irwin is a three-sport team captain.

GRANT IULIANO

BRIMMER AND MAY The two-way star did it all on the diamond for Brimmer and May this spring. Iuliano went 4-2 with a 2.36 ERA including a no-hitter with 17 strikeouts. At the plate, Iuliano hit .341 for his career and earned Brimmer and May's Most Outstandin­g Athlete award for the 2017-18 season. The Bates-bound Iuliano was a high honor roll student in each semester of high school.

JANE JANNOTTA

PORTSMOUTH ABBEY Jannotta helped lead Portsmouth Abbey to a third-place finish as she scored 65 goals to go along with 17 assists. Jannotta's season earned her EIL League MVP honors as she was the league leader with 104 controlled draws. A senior, Jannotta finished her career as captain of the field hockey, basketball and lacrosse teams.

CASSIDY KEARNEY

THAYER ACADEMY A senior mid-distance runner, Kearney broke the ISL championsh­ip meet record in the 1,500 meters and 800 meters. The NEPSAC Div. 2 MVP, Kearney set championsh­ip meet records with times of 4:38.57 in the 1,500 and 12:13.45 in the 800. The 2018 female NEPSAC Athlete of the Year as well as an honor roll student, Kearney will continue her career at Middlebury College.

KAITLIN KOLB

WINDSOR SCHOOL Despite being only a freshman, Kolb took home the EIL League MVP for a third year in a row. Kolb won the 100-meter hurdles, long jump and anchored the winning 4x100 meter team at the EIL championsh­ip. A three-time Boston Herald AllScholas­tic for track, Kolb holds the school record for the 100-meter hurdles at 16.09 seconds.

ERIC KRUGLAK SAMUEL LAGAN

GANN ACADEMY Kruglak went 7-4 in singles play this year, helping him earn league MVP honors and lead Gann Academy to a perfect 13-0 mark in league play. A junior, Kruglak now holds a 19-8 record all-time and is a two-time league all-star. Kruglak is also a member of the basketball team. LANDMARK SCHOOL A junior captain of the track team, Lagan set the school record in the 4x400 relay. Also a participan­t in the mile, 1,500, 800, 400, and long jump, Lagan took home the EIL MVP as he was the leading point scorer at the EIL championsh­ip meet. Lagan is also a member of the soccer team and a recipient of the Social Science Award.

MAKAYLA MURDOCK

CHAPEL HILL-CHAUNCY HALL Murdock was an integral part of Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall taking home the championsh­ip this spring as she pitched in 11 of the 12 games and batted .610 while leading her team in stolen bases. Murdock earned the IGC League MVP while being named all-league for the second time in her career. A sophomore, Murdock is also a member of the basketball and volleyball teams.

JULIA NEWMAN

NEWTON COUNTRY DAY Newman went 9-0 in singles play this spring as she lead Newton Country Day to a 9-1 overall record in the league. Additional­ly, Newman went 3-0 in the New England tournament. She will continue her playing career at Brown University in the fall.

AMANDA OFULUE

MILTON ACADEMY Only a junior, Ofulue was the ISL MVP in the discus, winning the NEPSTA championsh­ip. The accomplish­ment builds on Ofulue's stellar career as she set the school record for the shot put as a sophomore.

ELIZABETH PATRICK

WARING SCHOOL It was a banner year for Patrick on the lacrosse field. The junior scored 59 goals while reaching her 200th career point as she took home the IGC League MVP for the third straight year. In the offseason, Patrick competes as part of the Mass. Elite lacrosse program.

BILLY SEIDL

ST. SEBASTIAN’S The dominant pitcher in the Independen­t School League, the junior standout was 7-0 with an 0.58 ERA. Seidl also helped himself with the stick, batting .395. A righthande­r, Seidl already has given a verbal commitment to Duke in the fall of 2019.

BRADLEY SIMAS

BERWICK ACADEMY Manning the midfield duties, Simas finished with 54 goals and 18 assists to earn EIL League MVP honors. Simas finished his career as the Berwick Academy all-time leader in points with 228 for his career. Also an all-league member of the basketball team, Berwick will continue his lacrosse career at Hobart College.

RIYA SINGH

MILTON ACADEMY An eighth-grader, Singh was unbeatable on the court this year as she went undefeated winning all of her matches in straight sets in earning ISL MVP honors. A straight-A student, Singh is also a member of the field hockey and squash teams.

LILLIAN STOUT

ST. MARK’S Stout was the ISL's MVP this spring for her play at the midfield position as she scored 57 goals. Her play helped lead St. Mark's to a 15-3 overall record and the ISL championsh­ip. An honor roll student in each of her four years, Stout will attend Princeton University.

RYAN SULLIVAN

BERWICK ACADEMY Sullivan was a two-way standout for Berwick this spring, pitching to the tune of a 1.37 ERA over 46 innings while also batting .407. A two-time EIL Player of the Year, Sullivan's play led Berwick to the EIL tournament championsh­ip. A senior, Sullivan will do a postgradua­te year at Choate and before heading to West Point.

SAM WELSH

CONCORD ACADEMY Welsh took home the 2018 National discus title as he set the new New England record in the discus with a distance of 212 feet. He is a three-time All-American and won the NEPSTA MVP. Welsh will attend Harvard University in the fall.

TYLER WHITE

PORTSMOUTH ABBEY White starred inside the circle for Portsmouth Abbey as she pitched every game and finished with a 1.70 ERA and 59 strikeouts. White led the Ravens to their second consecutiv­e league championsh­ip and took home the EIL League MVP. A four-year starter, White will attend American University.
