International icon Britney Spears was spotted having a daytime outing with her kids at Mohegan Sun before she hit the stage on Sunday, and all we can say is, “Gimme more.”
Spears apparently used her spare time before the Connecticut show to hang out with her two sons, Jayden and Sean, rather than dedicate all her energy to rehearsals. It looks like she and the boys tapped into their goofy side while exploring Mohegan Sun’s shopping plaza. The family was all smiles within the resort’s Spin Street store, where they jokingly posed with life-size figurines of Deadpool and Wonder Woman.
“Getting silly with my kids on our day off from the tour! #PieceOfMe is back tonight. See you soon, Connecticut!” Spears captioned a series of photos documenting their comic bookinspired excursion that she posted on Instagram.
We’re also told that the everreigning pop princess and her little ones, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, sat down to a starchy meal at Tuscany — maybe so she could carbo-load prior to her dance-heavy performance. Word is, the table requested the parmesan risotto, which was personally prepared by Todd English, one of New England’s celebrity chefs, who owns the Italian eatery. It’s not what we would order if we had to bare our abs with only a couple of hours of digestion, but she’s … stronger.
Spears’ local show was just part of her newly launched tour, which is bringing her Piece of Me concert on the road throughout the summer, following its four-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Besides enchanting fans with a set list of classic Britney hits, the superstar also just gave us a piece of her latest unisex fragrance, Prerogative, announcing it yesterday with two unsurprisingly raunchy promo videos on Instagram.
