New dad Kevin Quinn, at age 32, of Cape Cod

Kevin P. Quinn of Cape Cod died Saturday. He was 32.

He was a beloved husband and a father.

A lifelong resident of Cape Cod, he joined the Marine Corps after completing his education in 2008.

He served two tours of duty in Afghanista­n.

Mr. Quinn was proud to be a Marine and honored to serve alongside his fellow Marines, with CLB-7 based out of Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command in Twentynine Palms, Calif.

He returned to Cape Cod and pursued his dream of becoming a local business owner, servicing the Cape Cod community with Quinn’s Excavation and Septic.

He and his wife owned and operated the business since 2015.

Mr. Quinn was an amazing son, brother, husband and new daddy.

He loved boating, motorcycle riding, trucks, slightly undercooke­d pizza and his two furry favorites, Blue and Teak, whom he adored.

He is survived by his wife, Kara; a daughter, Logan; his parents, John and Janet; a brother, Ryan; a sister, Danielle Emerald; a niece, Savannah; a nephew, Dom; and grandparen­ts, John and Kathleen of Gloucester.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday at Christ the King Parish, Mashpee.

Burial will be in the Massachuse­tts National Cemetery, Bourne.
