Siblings want home together
Jonathan and Violette are siblings of Caucasian descent who are looking to be adopted together.
Those who know Jonathan best describe him as energetic and kind. He likes to be active outside, especially going for walks, playing in the sandbox, riding his bike and watering the garden. He also likes to build with Legos, watch movies and enjoys pretend play, such as playing “policeman” and “school bus driver.” He recently tried playing basketball and soccer.
Jonathan is doing well at his current program and has made great gains in following directions and communicating his thoughts and feelings. He has built strong relationships with the staff and likes to tell them that he loves them. He also gets along well with his peers. He is in a separate classroom with a high teacher-tostudent ratio. His teachers say he is doing “amazing” in this setting, and he has started to spend time in a mainstream classroom.
Violette is described as a happy child who likes to please the adults in her life. She is engaging and funny and enjoys playing independently. Her favorite activities include coloring, drawing, building with blocks and playing with dolls. She also likes to go to the playground. She especially enjoys playing in the sandbox and at the water table. Violette attends preschool, where she receives extra support to help her follow directions.
Jonathan and Violette are looking forward to finding a supportive, patient family where they can live together again. An ideal family structure for them is an experienced twoparent family, either without other children in the home or with older children.
